When the client came to us, their legacy WordPress site was failing. During peak season, the database couldn’t handle the traffic spikes, resulting in slow load times and lost bookings.
Furthermore, they were plagued by continuous plugin update conflicts and security warnings—a hallmark of standard Anchorage marketing agency deployments.
The Solution
We severed the frontend from the backend. By converting their WordPress installation to a headless CMS, we allowed their marketing team to keep the workflow they loved while we rebuilt the entire frontend in Astro.
The Results
The site is now deployed as static HTML to Cloudflare’s edge network. It is mathematically unhackable, loads instantaneously anywhere in the world, and eliminated their costly server hosting fees entirely.
